Fall Tackle Football

Tackle football is played from August to November.

It is our goal to ensure all players learn in a fun and energetic environment where respect and fair play always wins. Most importantly, we make every effort to create an atmosphere where players have FUN and are encouraged to grow and develop together.

Game schedules are typically released in early September. We participate in the VICFL and the VMFL leagues and play games on Vancouver Island, our senior teams also play on the mainland. We typically play about half of our games at our home field and travel is required to play other teams in the league. Peewee/Junior Bantam players enjoy bus transportation to out of town games in Victoria. Transportation to all games is built into registration costs for our Bantam and Midget players.

Our focus is on participation and healthy competition. We train our players to be able to thrive in this environment through focus on strength, conditioning, fitness, skill development, football knowledge and team building.

Divisions

Our programs are broken into four age levels based on the player's year of birth as follows:

  • Peewee (~ages 9-11)
  • Junior Bantam (~ages 12-13)
  • Bantam (~ages 14-15)
  • Midget (~ages 16-18)

Players ages 6-8 can join us on the field in the fall too in our Atom Fall Flag program. See registration page for more details!

Safety equipment is a very important part of our tackle football program. To ensure that all players are protected, safety equipment (helmets, pads, etc) is included in the price of registration*.

*a security deposit is required and only retained if equipment is not returned

Players are responsible to provide:
