Our Story
The Comox Valley Raiders have proudly been providing football to the Comox Valley since 1988. Over the years our organization has grown from one season of tackle football to year-round football and league play. We welcome all children aged 6 to 18 in the Comox Valley and surrounding areas, providing our Valley’s youth with opportunities to compete, develop character and learn fair play through football.

Our core values are an important focus for our club. We reinforce these values in every aspect of our club and truly believe that they are vital to living your best life. Our programs are always built with these values as our foundation, and we believe that for each child and young adult to practice in an environment that embraces these values gives them hope and that someone cares about them and their success – which will open doors to future opportunities. ‘Once a Raider, Always a Raider’ is an invitation we extend to all that are involved with our club – our players, our coaches, our volunteers, our sponsors. Providing LEADERSHIP for a club of this magnitude needs COMMUNITY. Our youth all strive for EXCELLENCE while practicing and playing with HONOUR in their hearts both on the field and out in their COMMUNITY.

I've never been a football fan before and can't say that I've ever watched more than a few minutes on TV at a bar or somewhere else. But this football club is something special and I'm hooked. The kids are hooked too; tossing the ball after school instead of video games, sad when practice is cancelled just because of a little water. They are sad the season is just about over too but they are already looking forward to winter training. That's all because of the quality of the coaching and support staff."

Comox Valley Raiders football club has been a true gift to our community. From a coach & player perspective, our football club brings so much joy to our family. At 6 years old, my son joined the CV Raiders Atom team and has been hooked ever since. My husband absolutely LOVES the time he gets to spend with the athletes and truly just wants them all to fall in love with the game of football. The family friendships that are made are so special & important. Once a Raider, always a Raiders runs deep in the Comox Valley.
